Contract Complete: 2006-2009

Description: This project involved renovating the vehicle access doors in the Vehicle Assembly Building in two High Bays, the South Transfer Aisle Door and the North Transfer Aisle Door.

More specifically, the scope was to remove the doors, lead-based paint removal, re-paint, rework the mechanical components, replace siding and reinstall a total of 24 vehicle access doors ranging in size up to 40’ x 112’ and weighing up to 160,000 pounds each.
